The Horizon Interactive Awards, now in its 22nd year, has become one of the most prestigious awards in the field of interactive, web design and creative media. The competition recognizes, promotes and awards the best web sites and web site design, interactive, videos, online advertising, print media and mobile applications. Each year, the Horizon Interactive Awards receives thousands of entries from all over the world and a volunteer panel of industry professionals, from diverse multi-media, graphic design, advertising and marketing backgrounds, review the entries to determine the work that is to be recognized.

USAThere is only one Best of Show award per competition and one Best of Category (per category) per competition. All Gold Level winners are eligible for the Best of Category award in each category. There is only 1 entry selected for both the Best Use of Photography and Best Use of Typography.
Any agency/developer who enters and wins 4 or more awards receives the "Distinguished Agency" status. The Best Agency and Best Agency Runner-Up awards are the Horizon Interactive Awards highest honor for agencies / developers and represent a high level cumulative awards among their entry awards. There is no additional fee or categories entered for these awards.
The special awards will highlight the best overall mobile app, best overall video, best overall design, best use of motion/animation and best use of video from any category and media type. There will be only 1 winner of these awards in the 2022 competition.
